A backlog is only a problem when you cannot see it. This tracker gives every game one line, one platform and one status, so you can tell at a glance what you are playing, what is up next and what you have quietly given up on. It runs entirely in your browser: your list is saved on this device only, nothing is sent anywhere, and there is no account.
How to use it
- Start with what you are playing now. Add the game you would pick up tonight and mark it as Playing. Then add at most two more as Up next. That short list is the useful part of any backlog.
- Add the rest without judging it. Owned but not started, wishlist and subscription games can all go in. The tracker sorts them below the active ones, so they do not crowd your view.
- Mark subscription games. Games in Game Pass, PlayStation Plus or similar services can leave the catalog. Flag them as "In a subscription" so you remember to play them first. The subscriptions guide explains how to see what is leaving.
- Drop games on purpose. Dropped is a status, not a failure. Moving a game there is how a backlog gets smaller.
- Export once in a while. Because the list lives in this browser only, clearing site data deletes it. Use Export as text to keep a copy in your notes.
Why the statuses look like this
Six statuses cover almost every situation without turning the list into a spreadsheet. The full reasoning, plus a weekly routine that keeps the list short, is in the guide on tracking your backlog without burning out.
